This sounds like the Serbian claim to Kosova and
other famous appeals to nationalistic fanaticism.

Israel can defend it's borders and live in peace
but it chooses to annex more and more of the west bank
exactly because of these historical appeals to
nationalist fanaticism as demonstrated by the
freak show that was the Gaza pullout.
