12. Hackett can still run for the House if he wants
he isn't legally barred from doing that just because Brown announced he would get into the race.

there are some people who demand Brown answer for why he got into the race and i'm sure he will do that. if people don't want to vote for him based on how and when he announced they don't have to.

but there are also people who are willing to overlook that or don't even really care and will vote for Brown based on other things.
