I think in trying to win the favor of the R establishment, he is actually losing his mind. And I can't help thinking that he has a vindictive agenda for what he suffered in war. I just don't know about him. I know someone who has to interact with him frequently, and it sounds like he's not a very likeable guy either. I don't know if that's part and parcel of his self-perceived power, to always think he's right on everything and doesn't care to incorporate opinions of others... Now you've got me in the tree.....
