Today, I went to an appreciation celebration, courtesy of the brothers Salazar. Both Ken and John had an appreciation celebration for people who were involved in their campaigns. It was the most joy I had in a while. I got to see almost everybody that I worked with on the Salazar senate campaign, and it was quite nice. But anyway I was talking a little to Colorado's next U.S. Senator, and I made the remark that the Democrats did very well in Colorado this year. Anyway, Ken (Salazar) was saying that he talked to Senator Kerry this past week. According to Ken, Kerry seemed very interested in how the Colorado State Democratic party did what it did to achieve such major victories. Thinking that the national party could learn a thing or two from the state party in order to apply the state party's tactics to their strategy.
