Howard Dean, the leader of Democracy for America, gave a speech at George Washington University in Washington, DC today.

Dean described the goals of the Republican Party for "a government that is of, by, and for their special interest friends" creating a society of "wealth rewarded over work."

Dean described the goals of the Democratic Party for "affordable health care," improved public education, a "dignified retirement" for people who worked their whole lives, balanced budgets, greater political participation by ordinary citizens, and "accurate elections."
