Most of us want the same things at least 90% of the time and/or to varying degrees. Your goals aren't perfect and many would say the same about mine. I'm not going to claim they have no right to a voice or pretend that only my goals are the right ones no matter how strongly I feel they are. The world is too big for that level of vanity, selfishness or impracticality.
