18. THE WORST coverage EVER!
Edited on Sun Aug-21-05 11:24 AM by NightOwwl
I just about sh*t my pants when I heard his comments. Here is his actual quote regarding the people at camp Casey (thank god for TIVO):

"Right now, it's PETA, hippies, Nadarites."

WTF! :wtf:

That is bullshit, just plain bullshit.

WRITE TO FACE THE NATION NOW AND TELL THEM WHAT YOU THINK OF THEIR SO-CALLED COVERAGE!

ftn@cbsnews.com

Edited to add my email to Fuck The Nation:

Mike Allen played fast and loose with the facts today when reporting from Camp Casey. Thanks to TIVO, I have his actual quote: “"Right now, it's PETA, hippies, Nadarites."

Do you think the people watching your news show are idiots? Do you think we don’t get news from other sources? Do you think we haven’t seen the thousands of pictures from the camp, that show people that *gasp*, look just like you and me? This attempt to smear Cindy’s supporters as radical extremists is pure White House spin, and I was shocked to see Mike Allen regurgitate this spin as fact. Have we gone so far now that facts have no place in the news anymore?
