9. All soldiers are honorable and honored when
they die in the service of their country. Countries and leaders must make sure that the causes they send our warriors off to fight for are worthy of the sacrifice. The foibles of the leaders does not denigrate the valor of the soldier one whit. But we honor soldiers most when we value their individual lives and remove them from untenable situations.
