He volunteered at Bernie's booth and was able to talk with him for a long time about many different issues. Bernie was extremely appreciative and bought lunch for him and the other volunteer. He's down to earth and always speaks truth to power. Vermonters love his frequent town-hall meetings and door to door visits plus he's the only rep that has a toll-free number for those outside of Vermont to call and voice their concerns.

I've talked to his staff many times and will do everything possible to help him take the Senate seat in 2006. He is being targeted by the swiftboaters for refusing to take corporate donations - taking money from regular folks is a crime in the eyes of those attacking him. You just can't make this shit up.
