11. Yes, sadly, I do believe CMC will
destroy his candidacy. One of the most important lessons I learned in '04 was what happen to Howard Dean. I was/am a true Deaniac. His spontaneity and willingness to answer questions w/o parsing every word sold me early on. After 'the scream', 'electability' became the CMC's buzzword - overnight it seemed. Observing what happened, I said to myself....'Now, I get it'....no matter how much you want to believe that 'the people' have a voice and that voice will prevail, if CMC isn't on board, it will not happen. Because of this realization, I only work for local progressive candidates now. I contribute sparingly to national presidential campaigns. I have sent Edwards $$$$ & am a DNC 'Bond' contributor (because I believe in what Dean is doing.)But no money to DCCC or DSCC (I contribute to Boxer directly) - none of that money EVER comes back to this district.

I knew Kerry would not be elected. I hoped that * would be booted. But I watched the CMC. The race was always close - a toss-up - the poll numbers close...the suspense building. It had to be that way in order for the neo-cons to steal it again. I was fearful that w/ the recall of Davis and installation of steroid boy, as well as the smear campaign against then SoS Kevin Shelly(D) (his resignation & installation of a publican SoS) the plan was to steal California. But right before election day, I figured it would be stolen in either Pennsylvania or Ohio, as strange doings were being reported in both states.

What happened to Howard Dean's campaign opened my eyes.
