116. I think Hillary's comments show that she is totally out of touch with
the realities of the electorate. I think Obama's wording was poor, but he was closer to correct than she is with her response.

When 81% of the country think we're heading in the wrong direction, that does not indicate optimistic or positive. It indicates dissatisfaction. Yes, everyone realizes that people are working hard every day, but nowhere does this statement indicate that they are having to work longer and harder than ever before to make ends meet, due to the policies of their government.

I don't think her response indicates she is "in touch" with middle America or rural America. She's painting a rosy picture and spouting pablum to pander for votes, despite the obvious facts that smack us all in the face.
