That he has voted against the so-called "partial birth" abortions, which doesn't concern me so much considering so many Dems were essentially forced to.

I find Kaine's abortion position to be his biggest drawback, and the biggest issue I have with it is this, he supports parental consent laws. But he is also against (and I believe has stopped state funding for) abstinence-only sexual education. That's a plus.

But it doesn't seem that he's made his "philosophical" pro-life position into much of a political issue and I'm sure that he'll be more than happy to jump on board Obama's pro-choice platform.
