When I googled up this plumbers name I came up with all kinds of hits - from right wing sites slamming on this incident. It all must have went out pretty quickly and with a confidence that makes me suspicious.

How could they have felt so confident that by the time this fellow was tracked down and asked that he wouldn't be supporting Obama? Because maybe he was a plant? He keeps asking questions - even bringing up flat taxes - almost like he's fishing for a "gotcha" line. Out of that excellent explanation by Obama all they had to grasp was the "spread the wealth around". I don't think it's what they were hoping for, but they took their lemons and made lemonade with them.

For all we know they have a guy just like this, poised to pursue some "stumper" question at every rally, just waiting for one to get an opportunity to go into his act.
