There are so many ultra RW wingnuts around here that you can't help but be a little scared by their zealous embrace of xenophobia, homophobia and overall intolerance for everything that's new or different.

However, they say and do so many stupid things that it's like living in a Three Stooges meet Laurel and Hardy film so it is entertaining.

The real scary part is that it gets a lot worse once you enter some of the areas outside Altoona. The official flag flying from houses seems to be the Confederate Battle Flag although they do match the license plates on their vehicles.

As I've said to my wife on many an occasion: Get me the hell out of here!!
