free enterprise, etc. Yes, the Dems can do better.. but The Republicans will never (in my case, anyway) be a 'more attractive alternative'. The author appears to be a Dem, BTW.. he's just making a point.

".... just want to get on with their lives. For better or worse, the Republicans present a more attractive alternative: a friendly, upbeat president who at least looks like he’s having a good time."
