Recommend reprimand for pharmacistA pharmacist who refused to help a woman get her birth control prescription filled in 2002 was recommended for reprimand by an administrative law judge. The judge also suggested Noesen attend ethics training.
Administrative Law Judge Colleen Baird said Neil Noesen, a former Barron resident, violated the code of ethics by refusing to transfer the prescription.
The judge's recommendation will go to the Pharmacy Examining Board, which will make its ruling in April. They can implement, modify or reject Baird's recommendation.
Noesen in July of 2002 refused to fill the prescription, to transfer the prescription and to give the original prescription back to the UW-Stout student.
