1. I see more religious symbols in or on the grounds of religious
institutions. Always have. The "fish" symbol is still seen, but it isn't as common as it once was. And even in old graveyards, you rarely see cross shaped tombstones, at least in the Midwest. You do see weeping willows and hands pointing upwards on the older stones, though these are older religious symbols not often understood by the casual visitor to a cemetery.
