And noting that I thought the town was attractive (in a physical sense) and was overall a pleasant experience (due to access to world-class trout fishing and backpacking) is grounds for implying that I somehow have much in common with the Reich-Wing.

I will say this. I preferred living among the Mormons versus the Baptists and Evangelicals in SW Missouri. At least with the Mormons, you knew the limits and hang-ups.
