I think allowing Scatch to walk was a bruising mistake. He now moves the Bruins that much closer to winning a cup. I think facing a one- two punch of Scatchard and Thornton is going to make for some long nights for a lot of teams.

Peca for York is the biggest screwball deal of the day.

Just doing the math in my head, it doesnt make much sense. Sure Satan is a nice signing but losing that much depth a center is painfull.

Sopel and Zhitnek gives them size a D. But given the overhaul of the forward corps and defensive corp, they are going to have a lot of miscues in the ealry going. Especially when you consider Dipietro drives some D men nuts.

Chemistry is going to be theme of the day early on in the season. Teams are gong to win and lose by it as their timing isn't going to be there after a year off.
