PBS article on the Third Temple movement at http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/week319/cover.html shows how serious they are in setting up this Temple, which requires the destruction of the Al Aqsa mosque.

It seems that Dispensationalists are using the Third Temple, a precondition for the return of the Antichrist-- who must sit in a restored Third Temple according to the prophesies, and making bucks off of it – see the “Left Behind” series by Tim LaHaye. This group votes Bush consistently.

As Burge’s article shows, a new temple isn’t what God requires but more in line with the Freemasonry view the new ‘temples’ God requires are the bodies and minds of people. The movie “National Treasure” mistakes the Holy Grail ( Knights Templar code for the Ark of the Covenant, which would go into any new temple) with some earthly treasure; furthermore so does Dan Brown’s “Da Vinci Code” which says the Holy Grail is progeny of Christ.

Freemasons know that Ethiopia is the location of the Ark of the Covenant. The falasha black Jews of Ethiopia and Queen of Sheeba and all. Graham Hancock’s book “The Sign and the Seal” spells this all out.

Our Forefathers were Freemasons who knew that religious zealotry in the past (their history is an outgrowth of the Knights Templar supression by the Catholic Chuch which created them--treachery of the highest order) meant that you cannot trust earthly powers in matters of religious belief.
