We finally got a new fridge [View All]

A week ago Saturday I stopped at Lowes to see if they still had any patio chairs. I saw that they had a terrific sale on this GE Profile fridge. My husband went back with me that evening and we learned that they only had the floor model so they offered an additional 10% off the sale price. We gave our old fridge to our young neighbors for their garage. They're having a baby soon and it'll come in handy as an overflow or beverage fridge.

I didn't know there was a fridge with an upper freezer drawer. I've got that filled with bags of frozen veggies. Love it.

My old knees didn't like me having to get up and down to reach stuff in the back of the fridge. This French door one is perfect. Our bins look a little different than this one pictured below but the configuration is about the same. Being in a narrow pass through area, the double door design is just the thing. And going from 18.1 cu ft to 24.9 is nice. I'm looking forward to replacing our overflow fridge in the shed with a small deep freeze.

I think we've been looking for the perfect fridge for about 2 years. I don't even mind the stainless with gray sides. Seems like it blends right in.
