3. Oh, goodness.

You take 2 - 3 drops per dose. It would take a LOT of damn doses to have the alcohol affect you. Further, you're supposed to be diluting the Bach essences into a dosage bottle, which you can (and usually should) add some alcohol (and could add less) OR OTHER PRESERVATIVE (vinegar will work, or a couple of drops of colloidal silver) to prevent it from becoming a science experiment --

OR you can refrigerate the dosage bottle between doses.

I strongly feel that anyone using any of these products needs to be careful, as careful as they would be with any other thing she was putting in her body.

OR, put them ON you instead of your mouth. They are VIBRATIONAL medicine, not tangible, physical substances (tho the alcohol -- or vinegar or CS or shiso -- is certainly tangible and physical). Aside from the alcohol, which I addressed above and which I find incredibly minimal as a potential threat, there is absolutely nothing in them that can hurt you in any way. If you pick the wrong one(s), they simply don't have any effect at all.

Your concern reminds me of a little piece in a woman's magazine some years ago snickering that Aunt Lydia's herbal preparation of whatever type had "x% alcohol in it," as if the alcohol were the "cure" in her little bottles of herbal tinctures. No, the alcohol extracts the various constituents from the herbs and preserves them, so that one can take just a dropperful and get the benefit of a whole pile of herb. Handier, less storage space, lasts longer, possibly even more efficacious. Theirs was an ill-informed, irresponsible and unnecessary slam. (Edited: I'm not saying your concern is "irresponsible, etc." -- just that thinking about it caused me to remember that from years ago.) As a publication, they needed to have done their research. Anyway, I am currently taking an herbal tincture and a whole dropperful or even two of herbal tincture in 100% vodka (made them myself) has no effect on me whatsoever re the alcohol, beyond a bit of the typical alcohol temporary harshness when it hits my tongue.

i don't think you need to be concerned -- unless you're allergic to alcohol, and even then there are several viable ways around any harm.
