10. update...

the agenda for the city council meeting this morning has NO mention of the budget or layoffs...it will only be addressed at the THURSDAY meeting set for 7pm...

I knew the date was sticky for some reason, and last night as i was checking with my teenage babysitter, i realized...

It's 'back to school night' - from 5:15 to 7pm...how conveeenient! this involves all schools, from elementary to high school, ALL parents in the whole city are expected to attend...

there goes our public outcry, nobody will be there...It has been rumored that the council is planning on just ramming through the budget and layoffs. Now I don't doubt it for a minute...

what bullshit!
