August 13th here. :hi:
... I lost both my parents by the time I was 28 (mom when I was 18, dad when I was 27) and live over 500 miles from my 'family' ... some of whom don't even realize where I live now. I'm the youngest of 7 but was raised as an 'only' because of the age gap (a menopausal oops), and have had tumultuous changes happen several times over the course of my adult life. I've reinvented myself so many times, I sometimes feel like Madonna. :)
Take comfort in knowing that the rough patches happen to us all, and they aren't Spirit's way of personally 'picking on' you but instead are her way of seeing you stretch your abilities.
Oh, and you're not the resident drama queen, btw. ;)
