Design help needed

My husband and I are reshuffling all our furniture, added a couple of pieces, trying to repurpose rooms and get more modern-day efficiency from a small mid-20th century home.

He is taurus and I am scorpio. Taurus needs lots of warm fuzzies, fine woods, comfort furniture, artwork. Scorpio would be perfectly content in a monestery with a cot and a candle.

All his stuff is driving me nuts. Are there any decorator types out there who can help me figure out how to make our astrological designs styles work together?
