Does anyone know about Conyers' letter to Kerry-Edwards?

I just saw a post in GD linking to a blog which has a letter which John Conyers wrote to Senators Kerry and Edwards today, urging them not to withdraw from the Ohio Recount lawsuit. Why would they even consider withdrawing? Does anyone know what's going on?
