I have a thing for trains, but don't have many photos for some reason. :shrug:

But of course I also have a thing for rust. These were taken at a junk pile I found in the middle of a national forest.

Mary Ellen
a cup to a cup





The Mary Ellen background is an old milk truck, circa 1935 I'd guess. This was taken in very low light. It was drizzly and under trees. I remember it was too dark for me to hand hold and use natural light. I used a tripod and thnk it was probably something like an f/5.6 or f/4.0 and a shutter speed anywhere from 1/20 to 1/45.

I'm trying to reconstruct based on the automatic settings on my camera for all you photo tech geeks. :silly:
