And it was on the Colorado Springs side of Woodland Park, then about three miles out of town. Interesting you should mention that because my brother just gave me some old photos of my mother's and included were two or three of the motel and our log house. My brother was in Colorado a few years ago and the motel was still there at that time, but maybe it's since been taken down. It's been almost 40 years, after all.
