That's the dilemma we have, as democrats. Most of our BEST and BRIGHTEST are elderly now. Their voices have been silenced for decades now (mainstream access is pretty much denied them). When young people "discover" these guys they are blown away with their insight and intelligence.

All you have to do is to look at the crowds they draw. I get several PBS and University channel;s with Dish, and every so often they run college speeches that some of these guys do. They show the crowds.. HUGE auditoriums with people standing (because the seats are all filled)..and yet c-span and our "msm" networks routinely give us the same ole rightwingers, spouting their same ole propaganda..a look at THEIR crows?...a tiny "conference room" at Heritage or AEI...

Daniel Shorr
Howard Zinn
Noam Chomsky
Bill Moyers
etc

Look at the dark-side.. Their "opinion shapers" are of all ages and are on all the time.. Ordinary people see them all the time whenever they flip the channels.. People who are not politically savvy, see these creeps and since they see NO opposition to them, they accept what these idiots have to say, as truth..

Some people think we only have to make up for the years that *² was in office... they are wrong.. We have FORTY YEARS' worth of right wing spin to ..UNspin....and our brightest spokespeople are not very young anymore.. During that 40 years, as any younger person came along with ideas, they were excised from the public eye... the older ones (who are actually NEW to some people, never having seen them before..) are now casually dismissed as .."aging rabble-rousing, hippies..or socialists from the 60's".. in other words, having been denied a continuing place in the debate for 40 years, they are belittled and minimized now, whenever they manage to get some airtime..

We have a BIG problem
