My first week as an employee of the Democratic Party.

Some will say this is small potatoes, but Ive never held a job that ive felt this rewarded from ever.

Ive been canvassing for the Arizona Democrats party, going around to registered Dem's who haven't voted in the last primary/election and ensuring that they received a Vote by Mail ballot request.
Its the easiest 'product' Ive ever had to sell: You get a paper trail of your vote and the time to review the 63654 asinine propositions we have to vote on, all in your own time.

We've had a few strange reactions, ive been yelled at and I had a mother burst into tears because she was disgusted with the Foley spin because she has a gay son. All in all, its been fulfilling as hell.

I cant wait for the election. I haven't asked, but the party I'm imagining is going to be great.

First were all standing around in anticipation in the party headquarters. we watch together as the results flow in, high fucking with the motherfucking Governor as she wins her second term. Then on to some fancy hotel party on Camelback Mountain, hobnobbing with the swells ;)

I cant wait and I cant think a another thing i'd rather be doing on Election Day!
