...to be dealt upon the ignorant masses of this country? What else would they permit the present or future leaders of this nation to get away with? I say shame! Shame on CBS! Shame on ABC! Shame on FOX! Shame on CNN!

The lone voice of sanity in this obvious political ploy was Keith Olberman of MSNBC. But he is not enough. He is nowhere near enough to cope with the virulent partisanship that has attacked the body of our very government. We are in deeper, darker, and more dangerous straits than we could ever imagine.

But it is not just the responsibility of the media, as complicit as they are in this battle against everything our country has ever fought and died for. It is also the responsibility of the opposition Party. A Party that cannot defend the truth is of no use to the people or to the nation. A Party that has not enough courage to defend itself from an offensive assault is not worthy of support. A Party that covets its return to power more than it values its own honor is worthless.
