think this way myself. What's the endgame here? Mere massive looting? (I tend to favor the looting theory.) A Nazi state? (Lots of reason NOT to go with that, despite appearances.) To "win" the by-elections, or to stave off impeachment? Are the masterminds Cheney/Rumsfeld, or unseen Corporate Rulers, who would sacrifice them (or anyone) to retain Corporate Rule? Has there been a split between the Bushites and the Corporate Rulers (Bushites gotten bad for business)? Is that why they unleashed a filthy but old sex scandal on the GOP four weeks before the election? They never did anything like that before--just coverup after coverup of the most heinous crimes. What's up? Is it "protection of the war profiteers" time--keeping those big bucks shoveled into the biggest pig mouths on God's green earth? Are the by-elections a lost cause for the Bush Junta, and they're saving the invasion of Iran for preventing impeachment? Why did the Bush Cartel buy 200,000 acres in Paraguay recently? Is what we're seeing (potential Dem blowout in Congress) still pretty much an illusion of democracy? Will Diebold/ES&S's capabillity be used and the Nazi boot come down? And what of all this Absentee Ballot voting? (Boy, am I buzzed about that! I think it's a genuine and very big voters' revolt against the machines!)

Anyway, I'd like to read how Larissa sees the board at this point, and I don't want to have to hunt for it. Got a link?
