but the now well known moment where McCain turned to him and told him how it felt to be smeared, how it hurt him, and Bush just looked so devoid of anything. Character? A soul? Intelligence? There was a big piece of "something" missing from that man. I had alot of respect for John McCain at that time, and to be honest, may have voted for him over Gore (though my hand may have been physically unable to do it). That any politician could smear a man who gave so much for our country disgusted me in to a degree hard to put into words. I remember that moment clearly, I knew I could never support an organization that could think that those ends could justify winning an election. Frankly, if they were capable of such a thing to win against ONE OF THEIR OWN, I was suspicious they could be capable of very bad things.

His inability to answer questions, repeating the same empty phrases to the point of absurdity. No depth, cluelessness of basic facts.

Incompetent and evil.
I had know idea just how right I was.
