skull with eyeglasses
sits alone answering its
own unasked questions

Did I screw up? Yes!
Really bad? Absolutely.
Am I fired? You bet.

he went to war with
an army he did not have
now he's going home

resignation in
one hand, subpoena in other
mission accomplished.

"saddam! Is it me?
or has this been a bad week?"
"Don't get me started"
