What the republican party stands for (2006):
Advertisements [?]
1. Destruction of personal civil rights, v1: legislating one religious sect's morality as law (eg: homosexuality, abortion, death with dignity)

2. Destruction of personal civil rights, v2: removal of basic constitutional protections regarding privacy, detention, torture and prosecution to support a fictitious "War on Terror"

3. Destruction of personal civil rights, v3: Favoring corporations vs individuals (Medicare bill, Bankruptcy bill, environmental regs, whistle-blower protections)

4. Corruption, cronyism and graft: Iraq, lobbying, etc (pick your scandal)

5. Hypocrisy (again, name your scandal)

6. Murder, mayhem & chaos (Iraq, Katrina)

7. Xenophobia, racism, sexism

8. Power and reelection at all costs (Voting manipulation, gerrymandering, strong-arm tactics & rule changes in congress)

Nice platform, huh? Any wonder they lost?
