for a long time, Arlo had refused to do the song in concert, but on this particular night, in a concert with Pete Seeger in Massachusetts, he said something like "Ya know, I haven't done this song for awhile -- but I think I'm gonna do it for you folks tonight" . . . I remember Pete sitting on stage and grinning and laughing throughout the entire song . . .
