This symbol is actually the Norse Rune Algiz, or protection rune in the reversed position signaling wariness. It it's upright position it represents protection and also the elk. The twisted/broken cross part is sadly laughable.

It's tragic how positive ancient symbols have become something to be feared by ignorant christofacists these days.
