Wish the anti-DLCers would get their slurs straight....
One minute the DLC is falling apart, the next it's taking over the Democratic party....


Uh, no. This is the way it works, Benchley:

One minute (to use your construction) the DLC has taken over the party and has way too much influence, and has caused immeasureable harm, and the next minute we hear that one analyst has it that the DLC has LOST some of its influence thanks to a lot of efforts by a lot of people. (Haven't read the article yet, but I intend to. Obviously, reading the article isn't necessary to clearly understand your poor logic.)

No problem in getting what you consider our slurs straight -- only YOUR problem in correctly interpreting what's being said.
