The union guys working the docks, they're hard core Americans, man. Even the ones that aren't! I know it's just coming from the propaganda machine, so I have to take it with several grains of salt, but I've seen teevee news footage of big tough New Jersey longshoremen saying "hell no!" and getting real flag-wavy patriotic about this. BushCo really did a great job of conditioning everybody, and I think these guys on the waterfront are going to be hard-pressed to be convinced otherwise. Except...

...where are they going to go? Dubai Ports is not just buying 6 ports, they are getting 21, according to articles released this morning. If you suddenly find yourself working for Dubai Port World and don't like it, which port are you going to move to looking for a new job? Hmm? This is not going to sit well with the people who will actually be running the working end of the ports.
