37. And what makes Obama think that LGBT people haven't been reaching out to
"reachable" homophobes since the beginning of time? We DO reach out to those who are just IGNORANT and not HATEFUL. How do you think we've survived this long? Relying on the wisdom of politicians? Did you ever hear of SOULFORCE? MCC? I mean, my GOD what are we supposed to do?

We have no 'differences' with anti-gay black churches.

Would it not have been offensive and absurd for a white politician to say "Now, now. I think you black people need to sit down with the segregationists and iron out your DIFFERENCES?" Would it not be absurd for some white person to come along and scold the black community and say "Now, Now, what he was really saying was REACH ALL THE WHITE PEOPLE YOU CAN REACH? That man who said 'Thank God I was born white!' meant nothing by it! And he did say that Blacks are killing our children. And my candidate did give that man a microphone. But, come on, my candidate supports desegregated schools! You can't possibly think that giving a man a microphone to spout racial hostility trumps my candidates lukewarm support of desegregation? "

Come on.
