But aside from that, we've lost a lot of hospitals and California's worthless governor has been allowing the infrastructure (including the existing hospitals) to fall apart. Oh, and not to mention all the state employees he fired the other day.
All we need is a big enough earthquake and voila! A disaster opportunity!
Or, it could be water-related, since California's worthless governor has allowed the levees to go for years without retrofitting, or repair. And it's in the west and many western states have been suffering through years of drought. California's worthless governor has done nothing to lead in conservation of this limited resource. LA's department of water and power used to fine people who wasted water, but they were instructed not to deter anyone from wasting water (like businesses and large property owners watering the sidewalks).
I do believe that we'll survive it, no matter what it is. People have always underestimated Californians as being too "laid back", but we always surprise people.
