But I guess it would be beneath your son to do such menial labor. At 17, I was washing dishes, keeping a kitchen clean, and busing tables at a greasy spoon restaurant. The kitchen could get up to 120 degrees in the summer. I would come home all grimy and dirty, and very tired. All for the princely sum of 2.90 and hour.

With that type of experience, I sure as hell wanted a better life and got an education. But the two years I did that particular job taught me a wonderful lesson in life. Something that Karl's quite probably asshole son will never have to experience. After all, that's the Republican way.
