Dem's are debating on the floor now, its unbelievable the excuses and whining coming from the RePukes. They are dead set to keep the veto from being overridden. Of all the lame excuses I have heard claiming that "we can not afford" to provide this additional coverage has to be the lamest. How about putting an end to Bu$h's cluster**** in Iraq and use the money being spent for one month over there to pay for this program and possibly a couple of others. Jan Schakowsky from Ill is making that point on the floor now, she says 2 1/2 weeks of Iraq money would pay for this program.
