to "turn the baby in"! She was delusional if not under the influence or mentally ill and off her meds due to pregnancy. She was not "showing" as being obviously pregnant, just 5 months along. The Officer feared for the baby's safety and there is also the elevated concern she may have other children in danger, harmed or killed. She abruptly changed her mind in mid conversation and bolted for the door in a chaotic fashion, with the baby...

The footage shows a woman identified in a police incident report as Valreca Redden, 33, in the lobby of the suburban Dayton police station with her 1-year-old son.

Redden had come to the police station to ask police to take custody of the child. When Wilmer asked why, the woman reportedly would only say that "she's tired of playing games" with the baby's father.
