Well, if this isn't a significant development reflecting the mood of the country about the con-artist con-servatives. . .:-).
And I thought Daddy Bush's endorsement announcement of John McCain is the kiss of campaign death! From AOL and Rolling Stone:

"Weeks ago, John Mellencamp sent a letter to John McCain's camp expressing his displeasure at their use of his song 'Our Country' to promote the Republican presidential candidate. Now, another rocker had fired off a letter to McCain's rival on the campaign trail.

Tom Scholz, the man behind '70s rock icons Boston, is a Barack Obama supporter. When he discovered that Mike Huckabee performed Boston's biggest hit 'More Than a Feeling' at campaign events with the help of Barry Goudreau, a one-time guitarist for the band, he wrote to the candidate.

Dear Gov. Huckabee:

It has come to my attention that your campaign’s use of my song 'More Than a Feeling' and my band’s name BOSTON has resulted in a great deal of false information, which it now appears may exist permanently on the Internet.

While I’m flattered that you are fond of my song, I’m shocked that you would use it and the name BOSTON to promote yourself without my consent...."
