I can promise you, ANYONE working at your local wallyworld is there only because their other job opportunities are limited and this is the best they can do for themselves and their families at this point in their lives. Not even the store manager makes very many decisions, they do what they are told or they are fired just like the cashiers and stock clerks - and they are not nearly as well paid as you might think.

Sure, there are some asshole store managers - the one's that seem to get all the press by locking cleaning crews into the store and not allowing one who broke his leg out to get medical attention. Do you have any idea how low on the "management" totem pole a night shift Walmart manager is? I doubt they are rocket scientist material quite yet (maybe someday). But most Walmart managers are just working stiffs trying to get their kids a better life like the rest of us.

The guaranteed asshole is the one going in there to buy the M&M's rather than the local mom & pop place that paid it's cashiers and stock clerks a half decent, though still low, wage.
