Daily Kos' "Vote to name the Gopasaur" contest...

OH FOR PETE'S SAKE...

It's down to the two names: "GIPPER" and "NoNo".

GIPPER is clearly the best name (IMO) as it boldly skewers a Repug "sacred cow" (Ronald Reagan) as being ancient history, slow and dumb, destined for extinction, and so on. This is brilliant... to "attack a perceived strength" and it uses humor as well. Plus, the name Gipper the Gopasaur has alliteration... it sounds good and rolls off the tongue.

On the other hand, the name "NoNo" is based on nothing more than empty and shallow name calling, from what I can tell. No deeper significance whatsoever. It's childish and dumb in comparison. Oh wait, I just "got it" (I guess)... Republicans are "the party of no" at this point in history. I guess if you are a political junkie, you'll get it (maybe). Wow.. clever. <sarcasm>That's going to sting. </sarcasm> I'm rubber and you're glue!

Please, take a look at Kos today, and cast a vote to WIN ONE FOR THE GIPPER.

I know it's bad form to direct web traffic elsewhere, but this is important!!!
