The last person you trust with a secret is the corporate media. The second last person to trust is a politician. President Obama has done a damn good job of keeping his cards close to the vest...thus I see these leaks as giving the corporate media the feeling they've got a scoop (stroke their egos) while you've actually controlled the roll out.

The leaks that are a pain are the ones you don't want out. Like about pictures of people being tortured or that everyone's phone is being tapped.
