Make sure you spend time in Old Montreal (centering around Place St. Jacques at the riverfront. There are plenty of good restaurants around there, but Jardin Nelson is one of our favorites.

Ride Le Metro.

Visit St. Joseph's Oratory and the surrounding neighborhood.

Eat at Schwartz's Jewish Deli.

Go up to the look-out at the top of Mont Royal. Visit the overlook on the road down on the East side.

Visit the old olympic site.

Visit the botanical garden (IIRC).

Go play at Le Ronde.

Visit McGill University.

Visit the Museum of Fine Arts.

Go to a Canadian IKEA ;-)

Walk out on the Clock Tower Quay and be impressed by the Saint Lawrence River. Climb the clock tower if it's open.

Visit the Science Museum.

Practice your French; you'll be much-more appreciated!

Visit the cathedral.

Take the brewery tour.
