I'm not necessarily saying it's justified, but considering there are health insurance and banking executives making over $30-50M, well it's just hard to care about ~$3M.

Plus, Sam Adams has some really good brews. Their premium White Imperial and Russian Imperial Stouts were great. I bought them recently for a camping trip and was really impressed. They're kind of expensive though.

Personally I prefer microbrews, but Sam Adams aren't bad. I agree with a few others about the Pacific Northwest and microbreweries. Wow, what a variety. And many good ones. But there are some here in MI that are great. Microbreweries are definitely better than the mass marketed stuff and I've never understood why it's elitist to have decent taste in beer, especially when you're supporting local small companies!
